1) Choose one reference from each category:
Primary source - relevant material from contemporary source
Reference - print encyclopedia
Periodical - magazine, newspaper
2 sources of student’s choice (no web sites)
2) Make a bibliography card for each reference (5 total, minimum)
3) Make at least eight note cards from each reference (40 total, minimum)
Writing the Paper - MLA format
650 - 750 words (do not count articles = a, an, the)
1) Typing paper, front of paper only
Double space throughout only
One-inch margins at both sides and bottom of paper
Indent first line of each paragraph
Number pages in upper right-hand corner
2) Works Cited (Bibliography) included at end
Five different sources must be cited within paper

February 11 (Wednesday) - Term paper title (in form of question)

Thesis statement
March 24 (Tuesday) - Two bibliography cards + eight note cards from each
